How to Apply Your UV DTF Decal

Step 1: Clean Your Glass

Thoroughly clean your glass with soap and water to remove dust, oils and fingerprints. Allow the surface to dry completely.

Step 2: Prepare Your Decal

Place the decal on a flat surface and firmly rub across the entire design using a squeegee or application card. This helps ensure all design elements adhere to the clear transfer film.

Step 3: Remove the Backing

Carefully peel away the backing paper, ensuring the entire design remains attached to the clear transfer film.

Step 4: Position and Apply

Carefully align your decal on the glass. For a look similar to our product photos, position the top of the design approximately 1 inch below the rim.

Starting from one edge, gradually smooth the decal onto the glass to minimise air bubbles.

Important: UV DTF decals have a strong adhesive and cannot be easily repositioned once applied.

Step 5: Rub Firmly

Using a squeegee or your fingers, firmly rub across the entire design, paying special attention to the lettering, flowers, trident and smaller details.

Step 6: Remove the Transfer Film

Slowly peel the clear transfer film back at a sharp angle, keeping it close to the glass. If any portion of the design lifts, lay the film back down, rub firmly and peel again.

Your customised glass is ready!

Care Instructions

To help maintain the appearance of your decal:

• Hand wash gently with mild dish soap and a soft sponge.

• Do not place in the dishwasher or microwave.

• Avoid abrasive scrubbers and harsh cleaning chemicals.

• Do not soak or leave submerged in water.

• Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat.

• Allow at least 24 hours after application before washing.

Important Information

• Best suited for clean, dry, smooth and non-porous surfaces.

• Decals are designed for permanent application and are not reusable.

• Not suitable for fabric, silicone or heavily textured surfaces.

• Keep the decal away from the drinking rim and direct food-contact areas.

• Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.

• Proper application is essential for best results.
